I believe that set up a common room for the students is a excellent idea for us because when we have a free time we don't know where we can stay.

I don't know if in the university there are rooms unused that the directors can facilitate but they can make a big room with sofa, chairs, tables, televisio, radio and a microwave because sometimes we need heat the food.

finally the room should be comfortable and a nice place I mean the room should have a lot of windows and shoulb be paint with a relax colors for we feel a good atmosphere and where we can be peaceful!

Child Abuse!

In chile about 300 childrens are victims of abuse every year and the abuse could be physical, emotional, sexual or neglect.

How could anyone abuse a defenseless child? but this kind of abuse are much more common that you can imagine, but this problem can occur not only in the poorest people because in the rich people every day there are more cases like this but the T.V don't talk about this and always show other cases (about poor people).

In chile about two months ago we can saw a teacher that abuse for one year of a students and he has only 14 years old... in my opinion I think that is terrible and the person that do this actions are very mad! and is incredible because the mad woman is free.

there are many factors in the child abuse that we can find:

Alcohol or drug abuse
Domestic violence
History of child abuse (the history continues)

But in chile fortunately we have a lot of companies that can give you help and if you have a problem they will help you.
one of them are Galpon Artes, Abuso sexual infantil, etc here those organizations help them and give them all the necessary for they can be good!

I have been thinking about the report published teh last week on the demonstration against the building of a by pass for oldbury and let me say something... I think that there are a mistakes.

Firts of all the demostration against of the construction of the road will destroy all kinds of plants, tree and animal in extintion!!

second in your report said that there were 200 protest and there were 2,000 people and also you said that there were people sat in the road and blocked the acces to the site but is very strange because i didn't see nobody protesting with violence only saw a protesters very peaceful and all the people live there and you said that the protest live in other country and I think that is false!

Tornado!!!!

When I was a child I travelled with my family to Australia
There I have my dear uncle and my dear nephews.
One day we were playing with my nephews in the park when suddenly we saw a big big tornado but very far of us, I and my nephews were a little kids and we began to cry because we can’t believe that was seeing.
So my nephew called his father (my uncle) and he said “kids you should be calm”
But we were very kids and we ran in direction of my uncle’s house….
The air was terrible because was very strong and dangerous because into the tornado we can find rubbish for example parts of a car, roof of house etc... And these things could hit in our face or in our bodies...

So when we arrived my uncle’s house we enter an underground that he has in his house with a lot of food and some things for example: a bed, refrigerator, table, chairs and a radio because he say that he should be informed.

After that we saw the house and was destroy but in this country is very normal and my uncle decided start again obviously my family help them and after that my parents decided come back to Chile.

Nowadays all the people are scared for the crime that exist in the street.

The people cannot wear nothing like a gold earings, purses, rings and nothing that the thief find interesting but I think that the solution for that is :

Take Responsibility

There is usually no need to be afraid of walking past them. Do not let perceived fear of crime affect the way you live your life – or criminals will be winning.

many thanks for your last letter. the new house is a perfect place for living, how are you with this new experience? I'm sorry I haven't written sooner, but I've been really busy with my animals.

It's great fun, , though I still haven't got used to getting up at six every morning to milk the cows!

we often have the radio on while we're doing it, so is not too bad. but let me tell you that in the nigth is a very funny place and we can go to the center of this village.

Carolina ansewerd her aunt question all the girl in the village say I just un ugly and bastard person that doesn`t deserve live and I should burn just like my mother did.

She definitely should have done before see a map about the orangutan

rehabilitation centers because if she didn`t know where was located this center obviously she couldn`t find the Orangutan Center and I think that is very imporant that Miriam made her backpack but with enough time for put all the things necessary for her trip.

travel and transport

I believe that the best transportation here in chile is the subway because is very very fast and you can go anywhere. another benefit is cleanliness and give you a good service. The people can be safe and is very inexpensive all people can use this transportation all day and all week.

we as a student have a benefit of "Pase Escolar" and is more cheaper than the rest of the people.

this is a good tranportation system that can get you to all places of Santiango.

This is the easiest method of transportation in Santiago and if you live closer to downtown you should buy a "Multivia" which will cost about $2.000 pesos and can be recharged.

For a Long distance the best transportation is a bus because if you would like to travel to other parts of chile there are buses that go to just about every part. Rides to the beach from Santiago are about an hour and a half but if you want to go the north or south of chile you spend from 6-24 hours depending on your destination is for this that I recommend take a bus because is safe and fast.

however if you don't like long bus rides you can flying or take a train to the south.

What effect does tourism have on Chile?

I think that helps the economy en chile. it can, by using the gains of turims, improve the lifestyle in our country.

the tourims in chile is very important because we can make that the tourims understand and therefore learn to respect the environment in general and how is the lifestyle here. and is very important too because the tourims can bring more employment.

this country is very exciting for the tourims because they can enjoy the landscape and the beautiful beach.

chile attract thousands of visitors from our country and the rest of the world who wnat to relax.

I'd like visit the caribbean see because this place its call paradise. I think that there is much to enjoy see and do. this is a beautiful place and the weather is fantastic because is tropical and i can take sun all day. here there are a lot of islands around hundred and i could visit with a guide tourist. the people in this place are very funny and the night life is very exciting.

Advantages and Disadvantages of the countryside Life and City Life

here i will show you the advantages and disvantages to live in the countryside or city. When a person falls ill there are good government and private hospital in the city to get treatment.
There are large shop complexions, banks, offices, cinemas, hostels, clubs, hospitals etc. in and around the city. People in the city have better transport facilities than the village.
The environment is polluted with dust, smoke, garbage and dioxide gases from factories. Most of the people who live in the city are corrupted. So there are lots of crimes in the city.

So roads are less dangerous for driving cycling. They can get fresh vegetables and fresh fruits.
countryside people have to face many difficulties for their lives , like traveling problems. They have to go to the city for supply their needs.

What do you prefer city or countryside?

I think that, the city life is better than countryside life. However there are so many advantages and disadvantages in city life and countryside life.Actually the city life is more comfortable. As well as there are more opportunities for people to progress in their lives. There are a lot of facilities for people in the city and they have more opportunities for making money. Children living in the city can get a good education, because there are better school in the town than in the countryside.
for this I prefer llive in the city.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I want to express my displeased with the service in this enclosure (supermarket) and I need talk with somebody. first yesterday I bougth a lot of drinks and all was open I saw that when i was paying this in the checkout becuase the salesperson said me but nobody wanted gave me a explanation I was trying to talk with a boss of this supermarket but the salesperson began to talk me very angry and I didn't know what happen and the salesperson didn't want pay back my money then when I was there they began to close the supermarket.

The air conditioning wasn`t working very well and into the supermarket was very very hot, and the drinks was all very hot and I couldn't drink anything I was very angry with this because was very late and I was there yet.

And finally I arrived my home about 11.30 P.M!! my son and my husband hope me very scared because they didn't know what happen with me. You can imagine that I'm very upset with this and I only want to know when you pay back my money and I never come back at supermarket.

A short History

when i was a child i went to my grandmother's house I had a beautiful ring.

one day we decided go to the beach with all my family and my dear grandmother,

all them played football in the sand while i took sun in this moment i did put my hands in

in two days more i'm going to celebrate my birthday... suddenly someone took my door..

"Tropa de Elite" is the best action films I have seen because talk about of "Favela" (is a underground of Brazil) to be characterized by the drugs, abundant criminals, prostitute and there are a very poor people. the principal actor ( his name Fábio ) has been a general of the army a big part of his life but his wife have a baby and decided search to substitute because he don`t want exposed a his baby and his wife so he found a Nascimineto that has been a good militar and Nascimiento is who will have to fight with the criminals and finish with the drugs.
Finally Nascimineto finish with the Favela and save a his girlfriend of the traffickers and he fells satisfy for be a General of de Army.

I would recommend this film because we can see other real life and other culture so you will not fell disappointed.

The computer has greatly improved our lives today...

On the positive side, with this technology is more easy to communicate

with other people doesn`t matter the distance because we can use messenger, emails...another advantage is that we can send curriculum (c.v) for gettin a job.

on the negative side, some people feel that the computers are very dangerous because we can communicate by chats with a bad or mad person we should take care whith this.

In conclusion, the computer to make easy our lifes but we should be careful.
